making a difference through grant programs
Conservation Districts are the medium by which cooperation can take place through landowners, state and federal agencies and programs, grant funding opportunities, and a variety of other local partners. Districts rely on grant funding from state, federal, and other sources to provide conservation services to meet the local resource concern priorities. MCCD determines which local resource concerns to focus on with the help of Marquette County residents through our annual survey.
The Marquette County Conservation District is always on a mission to educate and reach as many citizens as we can. Knowledge of conservation practices is one of the first steps towards achieving environmental goals. To aid in this, we have many resources we are able to share with you!
